Founded in 2003 by a group of visionaries who first had the original idea of bringing a European-style market to the City of Kenosha, HarborMarket® remains a community icon over 20 years later. Our mission remains to enhance quality of life by connecting regional produce, meat and cheese producers; creators of ready-to-eat as well as processed foods and artisans of all kinds with consumers at our year-round Saturday market. A dedicated program matches SNAP benefits, empowering recipients to double their available funds for fresh, local, and healthy food options. Live music, interacting cooking demonstrations, storytime, bookmobile visits, yoga and other family-friendly activities enhance the entire HarborMarket shopping experience. Following our longtime mission, we also remain committed to supporting local small businesses by connecting them with resources and opportunities that help them launch, grow and thrive. We’re proud to support our fellow community nonprofits by providing free booth space every week. We remain committed to continuing to deliver the best market in the region with local produce and other healthy foods, activities, and a family-friendly, welcoming experience to thousands of customers every Saturday during the outdoor season. In 2024 we welcomed over 200,000 customers and more than 200 small businesses to our outdoor market.
