JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF GREATER BOSTON INC
Mission Statement
Education is essential in a young person’s life, however, many students feel disengaged with school—it all seems so irrelevant to the challenging life-realities they and their families must face every day. These students need to “get” the connection between education and life-long success, AND they need to BELIEVE they can take control of their futures. Since 1919, Junior Achievement (JA) programs have enlightened and empowered youth with important, practical life-skills in personal financial management, the workforce, and entrepreneurship. We accomplish this mission in partnership with school educators, businesses, community organizations, concerned individuals, and funders that all collaborate with us to prepare students in Grades K-12 for the real world
