Mission Statement
ATASK is a nonprofit, community organization serving Pan-Asian survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence. We provide services in Greater Boston and Greater Lowell and offer limited assistance in other cities throughout Massachusetts and New England. We currently provide services in 18 Asian languages and dialects. Our mission is to prevent domestic and intimate partner violence in Asian families and communities and to provide hope to survivors. ATASK embraces and represents all ages, cultures, abilities, and sexual preferences. More about our typical clients: We serve immigrants and refugees from East Asian, South, and Southeast Asian. 95% of families have incomes below the Federal Poverty Rate. The majority of clients reside in the Greater Boston and Greater Lowell areas. Most clients are women, and are between the ages of 21 and 45. We serve children with a family-centered model.
