Mission Statement
South Shore Women’s Resource Center (SSWRC) formally South Shore Women’s Center, has been providing domestic violence services since 1979. In 2006, SSWRC became a program of High Point Treatment Center (HPTC), a program of Southeast Family Services, (SFS) formally known as Southeast Regional Network. In 2011, SSWRC moved organizationally as a program of SRN. Throughout its history, SSWRC has been strongly committed to its mission: The mission of SSWRC is to seek to the end of abuse and violence against women, children, and families. We work to further a community culture that provides safety and support to those affected by domestic violence, to empower women and children to lead lives free of domestic violence and advocate for social change through activism, education, and leadership within our community.
