Mission Statement
TechnoServe is an international non-profit with 50 years of proven results in supporting low-income communities in the developing world to create lasting prosperity by linking them to information, capital, and markets. Operating in ~30 countries, our mission is to fight poverty by helping people build regenerative farms, businesses, and markets that increase incomes. In India, TechnoServe has been operating for over a decade implementing programs focused on improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers, agri-value chain enhancement, entrepreneurship, women’s economic empowerment, and natural resource management. Our ongoing agriculture programs work on enabling sustainable farms/supply chains across the country in states such as Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh across value chains such as soybean, pigeon pea, maize, potato, pomegranate, guar, mango, and cashew.
