Mission Statement
The mission of the Jewish People's Philharmonic Chorus – for whom Di Goldene Keyt, Ltd. is the 501(c)(3)fiscal conduit – is to bring a century of Yiddish choral music, several centuries of Yiddish music, and a millennium of the Yiddish language, to audiences young and old, secular and observant, Jewish and non, both live and through our recordings, with close attention to the correct pronunciation of the Yiddish text, the conveying of the meaning behind the Yiddish texts, and striving for the best possible musical performance of each work.
