Mission Statement
Groove With Me (GWM) is a free dance school for girls in Harlem. A youth development organization, it utilizes dance classes and performance opportunities to attract and engage girls during the idle after-school hours when 90% of youth violence occurs. It builds self-confidence and other achievement skills to prevent risk-taking behaviors. GWM brings arts programming to children who might otherwise not have the opportunity.
