Mission Statement

The philosophy of The Children’s Center is to provide experiences that encourage creativity, discovery, and self-confidence which will establish a foundation for a lifetime love for learning. The environment is one in which children feel safe, loved, and valued. Activities reflect the individual needs of each child and interests of the class. Hands-on, child guided activities support the development of age-appropriate skills, including art, fine motor, literacy, and mathematical concepts. Additional enriching activities include music, Body Rhythmics, technology, cooking, outdoor play, and gardening. Our Extended Day program provides activities such as Spanish, Stretch-and-Grow, Kindermusic, Science and dance. The Children’s Center is a licensed developmental school for young children ages 2 1/2 – 5. We have 2, 3 and 5-day programs, depending on the child’s age. Our school provides age appropriate classrooms allowing the child to socialize with new friends while being taught the basic educational concepts and introducing them to the exciting world of learning.
