Mission Statement
Mission: APECA mobilizes people and resources in the fight against sexual exploitation and abuse. Our vision: A world that protects children and adults from exploitation and abuse and values everyone. Therefore APECA offers the following free services: - Community awareness training, workshops, and informational tables at schools, organizations, & special events to promote awareness on all aspects of sexual exploitation, abuse and self-harm. - Support activities for teens who are at-risk or recovering from self-injury and abuse - Life skills workshops for children and teens APECA's eight-bed home in Arizona can offer a safe haven for girls (ages 6 to 16) recovering from sexual exploitation and abuse. Girls at Natalie's House receive shelter, food and clothing. An intensive recovery program is offered which customs/includes outings and educational strategies to assist them in making the transition to a normal, healthy life.
