Mission: The Tender is a non-profit dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to those affected by Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia. Our day center offers personalized care, nutritious meals, and engaging activities to frail persons with dementia, while also providing respite to their caregivers. Our CARES program empowers caregivers through support groups, educational resources, and referrals. Vision: At The Tender we are committed to enhancing quality of life and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by dementia. Our vision at The Tender Adult Day Center is to provide older adults with mental and social stimulation, while also giving caregivers a much-needed break and access to a supportive community. Our aim is to enhance the lives of our clients by nurturing their strengths, providing opportunities for personal growth, and fostering social connections that encourages continued independence in the community. We offer tailored activities such as arts and crafts, games, exercise, and celebrations, alongside nutritious meals and snacks.
