MAIN STREET COUNSELING SERVICE

Main St. Counseling Center's mission for over three decades has been to provide effective, affordable and accessible outpatient counseling. Our target population continues to be the low-income children, adults, families and seniors in the Essex, Hudson and Union Counties of Northern New Jersey. Since 1980, our overall target population continues to be those who often fall through the cracks of privatized mental health services. Thanks to Main St. Counseling serving as the viable alternative in the community, our equally underserved urban and suburban population would otherwise have no access to mental health care. Our goal, which we have been successful with for over 33 years, is to equip our clients with alternative coping resources, resulting in them becoming more productive members of their community.
