Mission Statement
United Way of Clarion County is committed to building a healthy community that supports our youth, empowers our families and strengthens the resilience of Clarion County. In a County where limited local capacity, fewer program options, and geographic dispersion can restrict access to opportunities, we work to ensure youth have equitable access to essential supports, enriching experiences, and safe, positive environments that promote social, emotional, and physical well-being. We empower families by addressing basic needs, reducing financial strain and strengthening household stability — recognizing that strong families are the foundation of healthy youth development. Equity is central to our work; we intentionally prioritize initiatives that expand access for children and families who may otherwise be excluded due to income, location or circumstances. Through collaborative, community-driven solutions, United Way of Clarion County works to close the gaps for opportunity in our rural region and build long-term resilience s that all — regardless of limitations — can learn, grow and succeed.
