Mission Statement

The mission of the Young Hearts Foundation is to provide support to children in our community whose lives have been affected by life-threatening illnesses or loss, to improve the quality of life of these children and their families and to support the search for cures and treatment. Additionally the Foundation provides guidance and leadership opportunities to teenagers in the Young Hearts club at our local high school. Members of the Young Hearts use their talents and interests to put on family oriented activities to raise awareness and support for medical causes. They work with the guidance department to provide emotional and moral support to students who are dealing with loss or are dealing with significant medical issues of their own or those of a family member.
