Mission Statement
Mission Big Dogs Huge Paws, Inc. rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes giant breed dogs that have been mistreated, neglected, abused and/or abandoned. Vision The vision of Big Dogs Huge Paws, Inc. is to be a community resource and, through our foster program, a safe haven for the high number of at-risk giant breed dogs in need. Each dog will be uniquely matched with a forever family who is equipped to attend to their distinctive needs and well educated about the breed’s general temperament, behavior, nutritional and health needs. Values -We recognize that giant breeds are greatly misunderstood; we appreciate and respect their loyal and loving nature, along with their need for human attention and reciprocated love. -We are dedicated to providing exceptional foster care homes for the giant breed dogs in transition along with quality food, medical attention and behavioral training to properly evaluate and attend to each dog’s distinctive needs to prepare them for a forever home. -We are committed to educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities involved in owning and caring for a giant breed dog. -We are committed to serving as a resource to our communities through education and counseling for all giant breed owners in general.
