PANZI FOUNDATION

Panzi Foundation supports the work of Panzi General Reference Hospital, also known as Panzi Hospital and Panzi Foundation DRC, both of which are not-for-profits located in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The mission of Panzi Hospital is to improve the quality of medical care for the population, reduce the maternal and infant death rate, provide treatment for the survivors of sexualized violence, and serve as a referral center for other health centers. The mission of Panzi Foundation DRC is to support the ongoing work of the hospital, improve outreach services to rural clinics and communities, promote basic quality health care for marginalized populations, and support survivors of rape and sexual violence in the rebuilding of their lives and communities.
