COASTAL PERFORMING ARTS FOUNDATION

Our vision as a non-profit is to provide high quality theatrical experiences and outreach programs in the performing arts for the youth of the Central Coast of California, supported by a strongly funded and well-staffed organization. We passionately believe that when young people have opportunities to grow and flourish by participating in exceptional training and professional quality theatrical productions, they are becoming not only the next generation of artists and art appreciators, but the next generation of engaged citizens: empowered to commit, focus, communicate, and energetically participate in a collaborative process. Currently, we offer three programs under the branch of Coastal Performing Arts Foundation. Coastal Youth Theater, our theater program for the youth of our area, brings professional-level productions to those who are looking for performance opportunities. Our second program is Beyond Boundaries. Through this program we bring dance and movement classes to children of all abilities within our local school systems. Our third, and newest, program is Players West. This dynamic new theater program will be bringing stage and backstage opportunities to all ages, geared mainly towards the adults within our community.
