Mission Statement
The mission of the World Orphan Fund is to give vulnerable and often desperate children a chance at a better life. We’re an all-volunteer organization with no overhead, staff, or administrative expenses. 100% of our donations go directly to fund projects to aid orphaned children. Our board members cover their own travel and administrative costs and we have visited 121 children’s homes in 15 countries. Uur donors have funded more than 126 projects including vocational training and transition programs, housing and therapy for special needs children, clean water, emergency food, and trauma therapy for children who have suffered from abuse, neglect, and malnutrition.
