Mission Statement
The most important part will be the Drowning prevention hosted by the UofL Swimming and Diving team on April 27th. Lasting about an hour, the children will receive important skills to survive in the pool and will get feedback from Olympic and NCAA swimmers. Drowning is a leading cause of death among children, including infants and toddlers. Most infant drownings occur in bathtubs and buckets. It is important to know that children can drown in even one inch of water. This event is only possible with support of companies that want to impact the community and the sport of swimming.
