EMMAUS MISSION CENTER
Mission Statement
The Emmaus Mission Center is a nonprofit non-discriminatory agency, providing help in emergency situations in a 50-mile radius of Logansport, IN. We fulfill this mission through the Morningstar Girls' Home which has 24-hour care for ten or more individuals in emergency situations. The Emmaus Homeless Shelter has 48 available beds and helped 315 individuals in 2009. Residents are given behavorial, educational and transitional assistance to regain a productive life. The ElPuente Center provides services to the 5,000 Hispanic population of Cass County with translations, education and referrals. The Benevolence Center provides over 1,000 low-income individuals with food, clothing and household items each month.
