Mission Statement

Manufacturing Renaissance (MR) is a Chicago-based nonprofit working to advance inclusive and sustainable economic development anchored in manufacturing. We prepare youth and young adults from Chicago’s South and West Sides for manufacturing careers while supporting local manufacturers and strengthening the regional manufacturing ecosystem. Since 2007, MR has served over 900 youth and young adults, resulting in 700+ industry credentials and more than 500 full-time job placements.
