AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY

In addition to our family link to military service, we share a commitment to making our communities better places to live through programs that support veterans and military families and teach young people about good citizenship. Nationwide, the American Legion Auxiliary counts nearly 800,000 members serving in more than 10,000 communities. Here in La Grange, our projects focus on supporting veterans receiving treatment at Hines Veterans Affairs Medical Center, helping fund Fisher House on the Hines VA campus where families of veterans receiving treatment can stay free of charge, funding scholarships for the children of veterans, and organizing educational and community service events for young people in the La Grange area.
