FAMILY SHARING OF OZAUKEE CO INC
Mission Statement
Family Sharing’s mission to alleviate hunger in Ozaukee County with dignity and compassion is rooted in the belief that no one in our community should face food insecurity alone or without respect. Since 1979, we have provided nutritious food and essential resources to individuals and families struggling to make ends meet. Hunger is not just the absence of food but also the barriers to accessing it, such as transportation challenges, physical disabilities, or social stigma. Our client-centered approach honors the dignity of every person we serve. Our grocery store-style pantry lets clients choose foods that meet their family’s preferences and dietary needs. We also provide personal care items, pet food, school supplies, and winter coats, along with nutrition education. Bags in Backpacks, Mobile Food Pantries, and Senior Home Delivery bring food to people who can’t easily get to our Grafton pantry. Our work is driven by a community spirit of neighbors helping neighbors. With local organizations, schools, libraries, businesses, and volunteers, we run more than 45 distribution sites across the county. We strive to build a hunger-free Ozaukee County where everyone has access to the nutritious food and resources they need to thrive with dignity and hope.
