COTS INC
Mission Statement
COTS’ mission is to end homelessness by empowering individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and independence. We provide safe, supportive transitional shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness while giving tools and resources needed to rebuild their lives. Through individualized case management and holistic programming focused on four core pillars—stable housing, employment/education, pro-social connections, and well-being—residents work toward long-term independence. We offer wrap-around support services and meet each person where they are, recognizing that the path out of homelessness is not one-size-fits-all. Our programs serve men, women, veterans, and young adults, including those aging out of foster care. While residents may stay with us for up to two years, the impact extends far beyond their time at COTS. Our Aftercare Program continues to support positively discharged residents for up to three years to help ensure lasting success. COTS is home to 80+ residents daily as they work to transition to self-sufficiency. We provide a safe, affordable place to live, food, hygiene, household needs, and life skills training. Each year an average of 140 individuals come to COTS to begin their journey to. With support from foundations like the Brewers Community Foundation, we create a compassionate environment where individuals can heal, grow, and break the cycle of homelessness.
