Mission Statement

The CBB aspires to be the best biocatalysis and bioprocessing facility among the universities in the United States, in terms of research and process development, as well and technology transfer. The overall philosophy of the CBB is consonant with the university's core values: learning, community responsibility, integrity and quality. The mission of the CBB is to provide administrative and financial support, facilities, equipment and a committed university-wide faculty consortium, which fosters world-class education and training, research and scholarship, and wide-ranging technology transfer activities.
