Mission Statement

Friends of the Myrtle Street Playground was founded in August of 2011 by a group of neighbors. Today, the Friends continue to meet as caretakers of the playground, providing free summer programming and seasonal events, maintaining the park’s menagerie of toys, and acting as stewards of the park’s facilities.
