SUNSET LANE EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The Sunset Lane Education Foundation is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization of parents, staff, and community members dedicated to enriching the education of every Sunset Lane student. Our mission is to bridge the gap between district funding and the real needs of our students by raising funds for innovative programs, technology, and learning opportunities. Through events such as the Direct Giving Campaign, Harvest Festival, Spring Golf Tournament, Santa Photos, Egg Hunt, and July 4th Fireworks Stand, we reinvest 100% of proceeds directly into Sunset Lane classrooms. These funds have provided iPads for students, laptops for teachers, educational programs like Newsela and Accelerated Reader, classroom grants, and support for enrichment such as the 4th grade recorder program and assistant PE teacher. Looking ahead, we are focused on transforming “The Pit” into a multi-use, technology-rich learning center and expanding STEAM opportunities that inspire creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. With the support of our donors and community, we will continue to “let learning grow” by ensuring every child has the tools and opportunities to thrive.
