Mission Statement
Through special education legal representation and zealous advocacy, School Justice Project aims to protect and advocate for the special education rights of older court-involved students during incarceration and throughout reintegration. By providing free special education legal services to court-involved youth ages 17-22, SJP attorneys work to increase access to appropriate special education to improve educational, employment, and life outcomes for this traditionally excluded student population.
