HONOR FLIGHT HOUSTON
Mission Statement
Our mission is to is to transport, with a specific priority given to WWII veterans in the East Texas Region and Korean and Vietnam War veterans residing in the greater Houston area to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices and return them home to their families and loved ones. Our top priority is given to America’s most senior heroes — survivors of World War II in the East Texas Region and any veteran with a terminal illness who wishes to visit THEIR memorial. The program is also accepting applications from veterans who served during the Korean War, Vietnam War and Cold War, received the Korean/Vietnam service medal, and reside in the greater Houston area.
