GREATER NEW ORLEANS PORT SAFETY COUNCIL

The Greater New Orleans Port Safety Council is dedicated to promoting navigational safety in the Lower Mississippi River port complex. The council provides a forum to identify and assess safety and security issues as well as plan and implement collaborative solutions. The Port Safety Council Board along with the USCG Captain of the Port and government partners from local, state, and federal agencies work together and with council membership to address navigation issues unique to the LMR for the benefit of everyone using the waterways in our complex port system
