Mission Statement

The mission of The Chain Collaborative is to facilitate collaboration among members of the coffee industry in order to contribute to sustainable development in the coffee lands. In practice, we realize this work in three ways. One, we build on existing projects that have been identified and solicited by the farming groups we partner with. Two, we consult for programs that are executed by like-minded nonprofits. Three, we collaborate with coffee companies in the United States and beyond to develop fundraising platforms that create solidarity for sustainable development in coffee-growing communities. In facilitating collaborative projects, we work with established companies, trainers, non-profits, or others in the coffee industry that have a proven track-record of success.
