SUBJECT: 509th MXS Booster Club Donation Request for Holiday Party/Giveaway 1. Throughout the year, the 509th Maintenance Squadron (MXS) provides logistics & maintenance support capabilities for our nation's only long-range stealth bomber. We sustain the aircraft's unique outer mold line to preserve the weapon system's low observable characteristics & maintain ground support equipment & the consolidated aircraft support system for the B-2 facilities. We have established the 509 MXS Booster Club with the primary purpose to enhance the unit’s cohesion & overall morale of the men and women who support this mission. This is accomplished by promoting activities or functions related to the betterment of local military & civilian communities. 2. The 509 MXS has been recognized by the IRS since July 2019, as a private non-operating foundation 501(c)3 which raises money through promoting activities or functions related to the betterment of local military and civilian communities. The 509 MXS tax ID # is 47-1682749. 3. We are preparing to hold our Annual 509th MXS Holiday Party/Giveaway as a thank you for all the hard work & sacrifices made by the servicemembers and their families throughout the year. By writing this letter we are asking for any donation or support with providing a variety of diverse donations to our event (for which all proceeds will go to kickstarting next year’s success for the continuation of this foundation). Some examples of donations may be tickets to sporting events, gift cards, merchandise or anything that would represent your company and help advertise to bring business back to you. 4.
