Mission Statement
Chicago Industrial Arts & Design Center provides continuing education, working access, and community for 3D object makers with dedicated studio departments in Casting & Molding, Metalworking & Forging, Technology & Design, and Woodworking. Our goal is to remove the common obstacles most people face with making sculptural, functional, decorative, and product-oriented objects using permanent materials. We yield hands-on learning, proper workspace, and shop tools to make for a safe, effective, and fun atmosphere for all-levels of ability and interests.
