Mission Statement

ur primary mission is to assist individuals with disabilities transition successfully after high school. The transitional process is not easy for anyone, disability or not, we plan to help provide the same opportunities typical teens have to teens with disabilities. This means that TNS plans to partner up with colleges, universities, and other corporations to be able to assist individuals with disabilities find jobs or attend further education. Additionally, once TNS receives adequate funding, we want to develop scholarship opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Another mission that TNS plans to accomplish is to spread inclusion nationwide. TNS wants to help communities come together and create safe, judgment-free zones. We want others to focus on abilities rather than disabilities! We believe that social reform needs to happen, in order to provide all individuals (with and without disabilities) equal opportunities for their futures. TNS would like to become the organization that young adults with disabilities and their families come to when having difficulty planning out life after high school. We believe that through the relationships our organization develops with other organizations that we can put your nerves to rest, and help these students find their way. The Next Step Programs is dedicated to helping families in any way we can!
