Mission Statement
At Anna’s Pals, our mission is to enhance the quality of life for hospitalized children and their families, particularly those facing immunocompromised conditions. As a dedicated and respected advocate, we have evolved from our origins at Boston Children’s Hospital to extend our reach to other medical facilities. Our initiatives include providing essential resources such as meals, snacks, toys, games, and comforting bedside distractions for children undergoing long-term cancer treatment. Currently, our focus lies on the development of The Beach House Complex project, aimed at expanding and enhancing our support for these vulnerable patients and their families. Given the limitations imposed by their suppressed immune systems, these children are often isolated from typical childhood experiences such as school, playdates, and celebrations. The Beach House Complex will offer them a unique outing opportunity that would otherwise be inaccessible, providing a much-needed respite and sense of normalcy.
