Mission Statement
The "Do the Write Thing" Challenge is an initiative of the National Campaign to Stop Violence, which gives middle school students the opportunity to write about the impact of violence on their lives and to explore the possible causes of violence, while inviting personal commitments to help reduce violence. In addition, and in many cases, the challenge helped to spur classroom projects, discussion, and programs about the impact of violence in our communities and associated resolutions.
