PAINTERS AND ALLIED TRADES FOR CHILDRENS HOPE FOUNDATION
Mission Statement
The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades established The Painters & Allied Trades for Children’s Hope Foundation (PATCH) for the purpose of improving the lives of children in need and ensuring their futures are as bright and productive as possible. The IUPAT, as an international coalition of working men and women, understands that our children are not only our most precious resource, but also the key to a prosperous future. Moreover, as an international coalition of families who want the best for our loved ones, we recognize the important role organizations can play in bringing the best into our children's lives. As a result, the mission of the PATCH Foundation is as follows: every year The Foundation will identify a particular need related to children that is of concern to the North American people as well as to our members. We will then seek out the very best organizations that work to ameliorate that problem and help ensure those institutions are as financially equipped as possible to carry out their goals by providing them with funds and materials collected by our members and communities. Further more, it is also our goal to bring local and national attention to the issue in which we have chosen to direct our efforts. The types of children's issues The PATCH Foundation will seek to address include, but are by no means limited to: literacy, education, incurable children's diseases, children's emotional well-being, childhood poverty, homelessness, and children's health care. The PATCH Foundations tax exempt Federal ID is 52-2318869.
