THIRTIETH JUDICIAL DISTRICT DOMESTI VIOLENCE-SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLIANCE

The 30th Judicial District Domestic Violence-Sexual Assault Alliance is a regional, victim services organization serving the seven far Western counties of North Carolina. Our primary mission is to provide trauma informed victim response services for underserved populations who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking as they move toward a violence free life. The service region covers 3,052 square miles of primarily mountainous terrain. Core services of the Alliance includes domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, elder abuse, veterans with disabilities, elder abuse and financial exploitation, children and youth exposed to violence, Latina and immigrant victims of crime, and human trafficking victims. A new core initiative involves the creation of a therapy/service/soldier dog program that can provide therapeutic support to victims of violence.
