Mission Statement
PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association. Our main mission is to advocate for and promote the success of every child. We strive to provide fun and educationally enriching programs that help children thrive and engage families on a regular basis. As the first International Baccalaureate / Primary Years Programme in North Carolina, Farmington Woods Magnet Elementary connects students to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study through a focus on the development of international mindedness and building student inquiry while preparing students to be leaders and life-long learners. The overall purpose of the PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. The FWES PTA is committed to Connect, Support, and Grow all our students and families.
