Mission Statement

Raising Expectations’ mission is to educate, engage and empower children and youth that encounter numerous barriers to success, by providing them with an opportunity to build strong academic skills, pride and to develop self-confidence as well as leadership skills. We set high standards of excellence by raising the academic, social and civic expectations of each child, while encouraging an awareness of opportunities and empowering children to become critical thinkers. We do this through several program initiatives such as academic tutorial, social discovery excursions, community service learning projects and additional services.
