Mission Statement
Harmony Farms was created for the sole purpose of providing safe therapeutic equine activities to disabled individuals. Therapeutic riding has been recognized for more than fifty years as being of significant physical & emotional benefit. The horse provides movement, warmth, stimulation & motivation to the rider, helping them to reach a higher potential and to build confidence & self-esteem.This development in an individual helps with social interaction and enhances their integration into the general community. We handle physical, mental & emotional disabilities. We are members of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International, (PATH), based in Denver, Co. There are 800 members centers around the world. They act as a national advisory & regulatory organization, providing training, instructor certification, insurance and networking opportunities. Member centers must comply with their strict safety guidelines.
