WILLIAMSON COUNTY CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER TASK FORCE

The mission and purpose of Davis House is to combat child abuse by coordinating services to children and families in crisis and providing community education focused on prevention and early intervention. We were established as a 501c3 not for profit organization in 1999 and serve Williamson, Hickman, Lewis and Perry counties in Tennessee. All of our services are provided at no cost to the children and families we serve. The Button Ball is an event of dining, dancing and donations to support the work of Davis House Child Advocacy Center and their services they provide free of charge to child victims of sexual and severe physical abuse, their non-offending family members, and the community education for prevention program. In addition to an elegant evening of dinner and dancing, three hundred and fifty of this area’s most prominent citizens will enjoy bidding for goods and services donated by individuals and local merchants. All donors will be recognized for their contribution online and at the event. Last year, donors were listed on the slideshow at the event and shown on our Facebook page. All funds raised from the Button Ball 2018 will fund services to abused children and their family members in crisis, such as counseling, forensic interviews, and numerous additional services. Last year the Center provided 3,133 services to 465 new child clients and 348 non-offending parents and caregivers.
