World Youth Foundation Overview The World Youth Foundation (WYF) is a national non-profit organization founded in 1991, accelerating K-16 learner pathways to youth personal and professional development, STEAM education, entrepreneurial, and workforce skills development through immersive, cost-free out-of-school time learning & mentoring programs, and career apprenticeships. Our world-class learning and development programs are driven by a public-private partnership (PPP) model that focuses on empowering K-16 learners from every background with the skills needed to succeed in the next-generation digital economy. Our mission is to "Empower Every Youth to Win in Life Against All Odds”. We achieve our mission by educating, empowering, and exposing our youth to advanced opportunities that are not readily available within their schools, homes, or communities. In turn, our youth pay it forward by empowering their own families and communities with the new knowledge and skills acquired in the WYF program, creating a sustainable path to help close the education and wealth gap. Our vision is to see every youth succeed and thrive in our advancing digital economy regardless of their ethnicity, gender identity, or socioeconomic background. WYF envisions a world in which all young people will have equitable pathways to opportunities that will lead to meaningful, high-paying careers, especially youth who have been left out of economic opportunities due to systemic inequities.
