GREATER HOUSTON BEEP BASEBALL ASSOCIATION
Mission Statement
The Greater Houston Beep Baseball Association (GHBBA) is a 501 c(3) organization, EIN: 76-0367246; established for the purpose of promoting and supporting the game of Beep Baseball. The success of the sport is a collaborative effort between blind and visually impaired individuals and the sighted volunteers who work along beside the blind players. It is a co-ed sport, but highly competitive, with participants ranging in age from the teens to more advanced years. Benefits for the blind players include: developing fine motor skills, learning the team concept, building trust and self confidence and networking with and learning cultures from players who come from other states and countries.
