Mission Statement

Community Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Fresno, California with the sole purpose of eliminating hunger in Central California. Our mission is to fight hunger by gathering and distributing food, engaging in partnerships that advance self-sufficiency, and by providing community leadership on issues related to hunger. We serve approximately 280,000 people each month, including 90,000 children throughout Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Kings, and Kern Counties. Through these efforts, we envision a hunger-free Central Valley.
