Mission Statement
Friends of Franklin (FOF) is a passionate group of parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members united by a common mission: to enhance the educational journey of Franklin students and cultivate an environment within our school community where everyone can thrive. FOF organizes community activities and fundraising events to achieve its mission and goals. The organization relies heavily on donors and volunteers throughout the school year to support with these activities and events at Franklin. Franklin Fine Arts Center is the city’s only citywide magnet school for the arts with over 50% low-income families. Franklin remains committed to education equity, offering all Chicago children the chance to receive a top-tier academic and arts education at no cost.
