Mission Statement
The San Francisco Bay Area faces a severe literacy crisis. The Bay Area Urban Debate League provides a direct and proven solution to this crisis. Since 2008, our mission has been to make competitive debate education available to under-resourced Bay Area public schools, ensuring all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential as engaged learners, critical thinkers, and capable civic advocates.
