CHRISTOPHER R ARAYATA FOUNDATION

The Christopher R. Arayata Foundation (CRA Foundation), a 501(c)(3) organization was founded in 2016 with a mission to ensure that proper awareness is made to teenagers and young adults, along with their families and educators, that mental illness is a real illness, and it affects many people. The goal is to provide support to school communities throughout northern New Jersey with the intent of increasing education provided to students, their families, school administrators, and faculty on the topic of mental illness and suicide prevention. We will educate, we will be a support system, and we will work to eradicate the stigma that comes with depression and other mental illnesses.
