Mission Statement
Kids in Tech’s mission is to spark a passion for learning in children and equip them with the essential skills to thrive in the tech-driven 21st century. We empower students, particularly those from under-resourced backgrounds, by offering hands-on, after-school STEAM education designed to develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation skills. Through our After School Tech Club, held directly in schools across Boston, Lowell, and Somerville, we make STEM accessible and engaging, removing barriers like transportation and cost. Our programs give children ages 8-14 the opportunity to explore technology, learn foundational skills, and envision their place in a tech-centered world. As demand for STEM skills grows, Kids in Tech is committed to ensuring every child has the chance to succeed and contribute to the future of innovation.
