Mission Statement

Highland County Peace Officers Association mission is to foster relationships with children between the ages of 9-12 through our Shop with a Cop program. Disadvantaged children or children needing a positive experience with law enforcement are nominated by their school to participate in the program. The children that are chosen are assigned to a law enforcement officer for the day, shopping, lunch and fun and games before wrapping gifts and heading home.
