Mission Statement
WPSAR utilizes a fully certified and insured field team consisting of highly trained volunteers to conduct physical searches for missing persons. The field team coordinates their efforts with local and national law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and fellow search and rescue teams. WPSAR utilizes a volunteer group of dynamic, highly trained K-9 tracking and trailing dogs and their handlers to expedite search and rescue efforts. Our dogs are highly trained and certified in specialized areas such as scent tracking, man trailing, and human remains detection. WPSAR has established a vast network of community leaders, local and national businesses, and missing person resources to disseminate missing person info quickly over various social media platforms to the public using our "Social Media Dragnets."
